Todd travels mainly along the lesser-known roads of third world countries, usually on a used enduro motorcycle for long periods of time. This mode of travel allows him the freedom to roam the countryside, stopping where he wants, when he wants, to shoot compelling, soulful travel images that would normally pass by in the blink of an eye. He and his partner Christina often stay for days and weeks with families they meet along the way, which enables him to develop close bonds with his subjects who are normally scared of a camera lens pointed at them. He has photographed dhow captains on the Indian Ocean, nomadic camel herders in Kenya, motorcycle mechanics in Argentina, market vendors in Peru, Mexican Mariachi’s, streetside barbers in the Sudan, and thousands of other subjects and locations from all walks of life and light.

Todd’s international travel imagery is represented by Lonely Planet Images in Australia. Please click here for a full portfolio of travel stock photography and complete licensing information.
